lionlogo_2c-smSince April Kodiak Lions have been extremely busy with activities in our
community!
• Crab Fest! We participated in our annual sawdust pile in which kids dug for gold in $1500 in loose change!!!  We won 2nd place for our parade and held another Arm Wrestling Contest!!! Also paid for snacks for the blood sucking mobile to come to the island.
• Biker’s Ball- we raffled off the 14th Harley this year raising money for the local youth programs.
• We ran raffles for the Kodiak Island Racing Association, Hospice, and Providence’s team in Relay for Life!
• We had a team in Relay for life in which we contributed over $1500!
• We sponsored a youth team for the Kodiak Football Team which our own Lion Mike coaches and also sponsored a high school player individually!
• During the past 3 months we have donated over $5000 in scholarships, youth sports travel and school supplies for the upcoming year.
• Currently we are gearing up for our annual music festival, Warm August Nights which is a food drive for Kodiak’s food banks and we are sending the Dr. Love show to USA/Canada forum in Puerto Rico!!
