Captain Cook Lions is current in dues and membership reports. We are strong in membership and striving to find new lions.
We have had our club Christmas party where we wrapped gifts for the Anchor House Christmas party.
We participated in the Anchor House Christmas party giving gifts to its residents. This was a trifecta project as we worked with McKinley and Mt. View Lions.
We had some “out of town” club visitation by 2 of our members: PDG Lewis Quinn visited the Juneau Lions club. PID Buster Hall visited the Aberdeen Lions is Florida.
Our club sponsored 3 schools in the Lions International Peace Poster Contest and made prize presentations to them. They are Bear Valley, Rogers Park and Airport Heights.
PDG Lewis Quinn emceed at the Mabuhay Leos charter night. Our club presented the new Leo’s with a $200.00 gift.
We will be at the Miners and Trappers ball working Lion David Traver’s favorite project the Furface competition.
PDG Lewis Quinn will be in Fairbanks at the Entrepreneur Competition February 7th as a Judge.
We will have 6 Lions at the Multiple District Convention in April where we will be hosting a hospitality room to help get PDG Lewis Quinn elected to represent District 49 Lions as International Director.
