We were proud to have 11 members at the Mid Winter Conference.
Our Club continues to support Lunch Box, Vision Screening, and support to 5 elementary schools. In addition we assist students with reading , and joined with our Ladies Auxiliary, to purchased winter clothing and accessories as identified by the school nurses.
In December we held our annual family Holiday dinner with members bringing family and friends. Lions furnish the meat and members bring covered dishes. It is always a relaxing time to with spend family and friends and as always Santa’s visit is a big hit.
We do a joint project with Mt. McKinley to provide gifts for Anchor House complete with Santa. Thank you to Finis Sheldon who stepped up this year to help us out. Our friends at Day Break made stockings for each member of Anchor House and the club filled them with various items.
We donated $200.00 to each of our schools at Christmas to help out needy families. We donated $4300.00 to Lunchbox, Day Break, Anchor House, Latino’s Food Bank, and the schools since Mid‐winter.
In January we had our official visitation with District Governor Cindy. Lion Pauline cooked up an excellent meal and we had a nice crowd to enjoy our District Governor.
