Come join your local Lions as they Walk For Hope.

You Can Be a Hero for Hope! Every year local Lions across Alaska gather to support Hope Community Resources.  Recently, we even formed the Kenai Centennial Savvy Lions Club from the Kenai Hope Community area.  Twenty-five new Lions are walking in Kenai to support their area.

Don your mask and cape and come join us Saturday, May 6, 2017! The Walk & Roll for Hope is Alaska’s oldest walk (48 years)! With support from many Alaskans just like you, Hope can continue to offer support to Alaskans who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities. So come out to fundraise and help bring awareness to disability services in Alaska.
Get your official 48th Annual Walk & Roll for Hope Commemorative T-shirt when you raise $75 or more, raise over $500 and get an official 48th Annual Walk & Roll for Hope Hoodie.
This year Hope has chosen to partner with several other nonprofits who share the same core values as we do. They will be fundraising for Hope and to assist in their mission Hope will share part of the proceeds that the nonprofit rasied with them. Money raised stays in Alaska and directly impacts the lives of the people who choose Hope’s supports.
The Walk & Roll for Hope is a pledge based fundraising event open to participants of all ages and abilities. Well-behaved dogs are welcome.
The event will start and ends at P Street & 10th Avenue, the Far west end of Delaney Park Strip. Check In – 8:30 am and walk vegins – 9:00 am . Dress up as your favorite superhero and join in the fun!
